Daniel Stephen Little entered Heaven’s gate on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. He was born June 29, 1967, to the late Raymond and Patricia Little and was the youngest of eight children. Dan graduated from Cascade High School in May of 1985.

       Danny specialized in finishing carpentry for 30 years, and most recently trained and worked in refrigeration. He was known for his kindness, dependability, teachability, commitment and hard-working ethics as an employee.

       He was a gifted (self-taught) musician, writing his own music and playing guitar by ear. His guitar was his constant companion, the instrument with which he could express his innermost feelings and heart.

       Danny loved the music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, with his most favorite groups being Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles. He loved, loved, loved “Little House on the Prairie.” Danny was an avid reader and had an extensive library by his most favorite author, Stephen King.

       The following are some shared memories from family and friends: Danny enjoyed piloting the pontoon boat on grandpa’s lake in Minnesota. He was extremely talented with his guitar, most often playing without music. His guitar was a “best friend” which he carried with him everywhere he went. He dearly loved his family and was especially proud of his daughters. Danny was sensitive, loving, caring and a faithful friend. His daughter, Paige, said, “My dad inspired me in culture, music, literature, and empathy.”

       Danny is survived by daughters, Sarah Little of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Paige Statzer of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Katherine Rose and Kalvin Vaughn of Indianapolis, IN; seven siblings, Michael Little (Lorna) of Plano, TX, Sandra Marchel (Brad) of Lafayette, IN, Alan Little of Terre Haute, IN, Patricia Shake (Randy) of Radford, VA, Thomas Little (Ginny) of Wadsworth, OH, Robert Little (Sherri) of Mesa, AZ; and John Little (Cindy) of Parrish, FL. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Julian and Fern Rasch; paternal grandparents, Paul and Ruth Little, and his parents: Raymond and Patricia Little.
