       Harold J. Walsh, 71, of Fulton passed away peacefully Monday, March 2, 2026 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born December 9, 1954 in Fulton to Emma Rowley Walsh and John “Jack” Walsh, Sr. Harold was a graduate of Oswego Catholic High, Class of ‘72 and attended Auburn Community College where he became highly skilled on the Foosball table at Curley’s. He was employed by the City of Fulton D.P.W. and Miller Brewery until their closing. He later retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator from the Oswego County Highway Department.

       Harold had a passion for sports, both as a player and a coach. He played on the Fulton Men’s Basketball League and dedicated his time to coaching the City of Fulton Knee-High and travel basketball teams as well as leading Kiwanis Baseball T-ball and softball teams. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of several local golf leagues.

       Being raised in a musical family, Harold played guitar, piano and sang with his father and brother. Harold had a special bond with his high school buddies, Jim VonHoltz, John “Hondo” Hall, George Tremiti, Bill Dowdle, Stew McGough and Anita Waring; and would often get together to reminisce about their youth. He also enjoyed spending time with his friend from his Miller Brewery days, Mel Hansen.

       Harold was deeply proud of his Irish Heritage and his children, he leaves behind a legacy of love and connection. He is survived by his children, Tiffany (Mathew) Shurtleff of Fulton, Siobhan (Matt) Kitts of Fulton and Brandon (Krista) Walsh of Shrewsbury, PA; his former wife and dear friend, Sandy Walsh of Fulton; his brother, John Walsh, Jr. of Oswego and his six grandchildren, Damien, Mitchell, Owen, Grace, Cash and Cade. In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by his grandson, Kayden Shurtleff.

       Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2026 with services to follow at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton.
