Obituary

       Honey Parkhurst, 82, of Fulton, New York passed away Friday, January 16, 2026. Honey was born in Syracuse and moved to Fulton in 1957 with her parents, Larry and Dorothy Churchill and her three siblings.

       Honey was an active and dedicated member of Fulton youth sports, contributing as a coach, sponsor while also being her son’s most devoted supporter throughout their athletic endeavors. For many years she was involved with the Fulton YMCA, Fulton Wrestling Club, the Fulton Sports Booster Club and Kiwanis Baseball.

       She was predeceased by her son, Fulton Police Officer, Robbie Parkhurst in 1984; her first husband of 30 years, Robert Parkhurst in 1993; her second husband of 13 years, Thomas Bugow in 2011; her sister, JoAnn Cozine and by her brother, Richard Churchill.

       Honey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Poppie Parkhurst of Thomson, GA; her brother, John Churchill of Sterling, NY; three grandchildren, Collin (Olivia) Parkhurst of Nashville, TN, Ahnna (Cody) Parkhurst Overton of Thomson, GA and Sophia Parkhurst of Thomson, GA; two great granddaughters, Genevieve and Eliza of Nashville, TN.

       There are no calling hours or services, Honey donated her body to S.U.N.Y. Upstate Medical University, Department of Anatomy for the advancement of medical education and research.
