Karyl L. Montroy, 77, of Fulton, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023. She was born April 13, 1946 in Fulton to Robert F. and Norma J. Ottman. Karyl retired from Huhtamaki as a raw materials production planner, where she was employed for over 40 years. She was also employed as a poll worker for the Board of Elections. Karyl was very creative and engaged in many arts, crafts and ceramic projects. Karyl enjoyed her time spent riding motorcycles with her husband Doug and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Douglas J. Montroy of Fulton; her children, Renae (George) Sacco of Scriba, William Reynolds of Fulton and Summer (Steve) Salisbury of Liverpool; her sister, Mary Gordner of Phelps; her brother, Kevin (Sandy) Austin of Volney as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Karyl was predeceased by her step-brother, John F. Austin and by her step-sister, Sharon Austin Reese.
