Monica Lee Stanley, 70, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25, 2023 at The Grand in Utica. She was born February 16, 1953 in Oswego to Harrison and Genevieve Sherman. Monica was employed for several years at Birds Eye Foods in Fulton and in her free time she enjoyed sewing, quilting and was known by her family as being a great cook, especially her noodles. Monica is survived by her children, Robert (Lois) McNabb, Rhonda (Michael) Waterstripe, Rebecca (Dwayne) Walts and Rocco (Margarita) Stanley; her sisters, Dottie (Laird) Jenkins, Beatrice (Tom) Souva, Connie (Al) Monroe and Santa (Bert) Pitcher; her brother, Mario (Aileen) Campanello; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Allen M. Stanley and by her brother, Harry Sherman. At Monica's request there are no calling hours or services.
