Robert M. "Alabama Bob" Moyer, 73, of Fulton passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. He was born May 6, 1949 to Peter J. and Mary F. Moyer in Gadsden, Alabama. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and upon his honorable discharge he enlisted into the U.S. Navy. Bob was a member of River of Life Assembly of God and was a lifetime fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Bolster) Moyer; his sister, Mary (Alton) Moyer Yancy; his brother, James Moyer; his step-children, Veronica (Jim) Ducker, David (Lisa) Bolster and Tonia (David) Scoville; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Martha Mullin. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2023 at the River of Life Assembly of God, 815 Oneida St., Fulton.
