Shirley A. Patnode, 79, of Phoenix, passed away early Wednesday morning. She was born in Champlain to Floyd and Bertha LaVenture LaPine and grew up in Tahawus. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and spending time with her friends at the Congregate Meal Site in Phoenix.

She is survived by her children, Shelly Burr of Syracuse, Sherry (Rick) Noffsinger of Wenatchee, WA, Sharon (Joe) Balducci of Clay, Brent (Linda) Patnode of Phoenix, Brian (Kim) Patnode of Phoenix and Melissa Patnode of Phoenix; two brothers, Larry (Dorie) LaPine of Warner Robins, GA and Donald LaPine of WA; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald J. Patnode and by a grandson, Jason J. Burr.

A service will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in the mausoleum chapel at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 8668 Oswego Rd., Baldwinsville.
