Stanley J. Gilliland, 84, of Fulton passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 16, 2025 with his son Michael by his side. Stanley spent the majority of his life working at the Nestle Company. After retiring he put his carpentry and woodworking skills to use constructing an addition to his house and building a two car garage. He spent many hours in his workshop building household items for his family and friends. Additionally, he loved traveling to the Adirondacks and the Thousand Islands. Stanley's work ethic was unmatched, working on projects no matter how difficult until they were completed. His greatest achievement, however; was caring for his mother for many years for which his family will be forever indebted. Stanley is survived by his sons, Michael and Randy Gilliland both of Fulton; his brother, Merrill Gilliland of Fulton; three sisters, Jane Canamero of Liverpool, Colleen Kelly of Liverpool and Judy Fleischman of Oswego along with numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
