William, who we all affectionately known as “Junior” entered this life on March 12th 1988 in Manhattan, New York City, NY. William is the son of the late Cassandra Williams and William Ferguson Sr. Junior received his education in the greater New York City Department of Education School System. He grew up in the South Bronx where he met many friends and developed a competitive reputation on the basketball court and in every other endeavor he traversed. Junior loved to experience the great outdoors whether in the big city or in the rural country. He had a vibrant spirit and embraced his social circle.
He was always the protector of his baby sister; Tasha and was always proud to be the big brother. Being part of the millennial generation allowed him to experience the “old school” upbringing while simultaneously embracing the emerging tech world as he really enjoyed gaming and mastering every platform. Junior loved riding bikes and traveling as much and as often as possible. Despite his many hobbies, there was nothing in this world that he enjoyed more than becoming a father at 21. Junior devoted his life to providing a loving everlasting relationship with his children.
Junior loved spending time with his family and was often seen playing sports in the back yard, the park, the rec center as well as encouraging academic success and ensuring that his children experienced all of the full qualities of a loving father in the home. Junior was not afraid to meet the challenges of being a devoted family man and worked hard to ensure his family had the support they needed. Being lazy was not tolerated. Junior enthusiastically woke up at 4 a.m. to be the best provider that he could be. Junior provided and placed his family’s needs before his own.
Junior’s sudden passing shocked us all but we know the Lord called him home. His legacy lives on and he leaves behind his companion of 15 years, Cassie Lone, who the two provided a loving home for their beautiful expanding family. He is also survived by his children, Nyliyah and Tylasia Ferguson and bonus children, Holana Trent, Elle and Kiara Lone, Javante Ramacus and Amias Gutierrez; grandchildren, Milo Gutierrez and Mateo Abdallah; his sister, Tasha Williams, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives and many dear friends.
Though he departed this life at a young age he served as an inspiration for many and warmed the rooms of every place he entered and the hearts of all who knew him. William quickly accomplished many of life’s goals and led by example. William will forever remain in our hearts. We as a family are truly blessed to have experienced such a blessing in our lives of having his presence.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services to follow on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home, 21 Flood Drive in Fulton. Condolences for Junior’s family may be left at www.brownfuneralhomefulton.com.
